In the Company of Women
This collection of short plays by Verena Tay explores family, love, food, relationships and life in general though the eyes of a Singaporean woman. Verena writes with heartfelt sensitivity and razor sharp observed detail. Familiar to both men and women, and deeply located around the heartlands, Verena articulates a touching diary of life in Singapore, through the voices of our neighbours, shoppers, voters, workers and survivors.
The collection is a perfect vehicle for the Level 3 Diploma in Performance students to explore identity through theatre, as individuals and as actors.
